What happens to your clips
- You film five shotsOne phone, behind you, the whole goal in the picture.
- We find each strikeThe ball at rest and the foot that hits it.
- We follow the ballAs far as we can. When we lose it, often before the goal, a person reads where it went from the video.
- We read your bodyPoints on your body around the strike: standing foot, arms, follow-through. They are estimates, so we draw them and don’t put numbers on them.
- A person checks itWhere the ball went and what we tell you, before you get it.
- You get your videoEvery shot slowed down at the strike, where it went, one thing to keep and one to work on. Then a focus and a drill for next time.
Zones 1 to 9
The goal is split like a phone keypad, seen from behind. 1 and 3 are the top corners.
Tight to the frame is the hardest place for a keeper to reach. That’s why a shot off the post can be perfect.
Honest limits
In this session the analysis found all five strikes and the right foot every time. It lost the ball before the goal in all five, so a person read where each one went. In shot 4 that check caught a miss: the ball went over, not into the top left.
What we don’t do yet
- No technique scoreNot until coaches have checked every part of it.
- No speed in km/hNot until we can measure it the same way every time.
- No guesses dressed up as factsWhat a model estimates is drawn as an estimate, never shown as measured.
Sweetspot is in beta. A person checks every analysis before you get it.
